After the cancellation of the Scarpa Ismf World Cup in Greece, the Ismf has accepted the offer of the French Federation and the local organisers in Puy St Vincent to add a Vertical race to the first World Cup weekend of 2015.

The Vertical race will take place on Monday 12 January 2015- with a start time of 0830. We hope that full details will soon be available on the event website. The organisers would appreciate it if the extra night’s accommodation could be booked as soon as possible. Race registration via the ISMF website is now open and includes the possibility to pay by credit card. Registration for the Vertical race has a fee of 50€.

The Ismf did not want to cancel the event in Greece, but being informed so late by the Greek Federation of the financial difficulties which had arisen left us with little option. We had obviously then hoped to replace the event in a different location with the same dates, but after careful analysis and discussion with different Federations it became clear that the short amount of time available rendered this an unviable option. Therefore, so as not to lose the speciality cup and considering various other factors it was decided to accept the offer of the French Federation and the local organisers in Puy. St. Vincent to add the Vertical to this existing Ismf World Cup event.
