ISMF WORLD CUP 2016 - TRANSCAVALLO - ITALY - SPRINT RACE - VIDEO
At Piancavallo, Robert Antonioli and Laetitia Roux win the Transcavallo Sprint Race A few hours after the spectacular individual race on Friday morning, the mountains at Piancavallo welcomed the cream of the crop of Ski Mountaineering for the sprint race that drew the curtain on the two-day event at the border between the two regions of Veneto and Friuli. The Sprint Race was the second to last event of the ISMF Ski Mountaineering World Cup. The next week will see the long distance couple race take place.

Kilian Jornet and Laetitia Roux earn precious points at the fourth 2016 ISMF Ski Mountaineering World Cup event. This morning the individual race took place on the Alpago snow, more specifically at Col Indes, a few kilometres above from Tambre.

The Ski Mountaineering Sprint Race World Cup and Continental titles assigned at Les Marécottes. A grand finale was staged at Les Marécottes with the Sprint Race of the third ISMF Ski Mountaineering World Cup event. Today the athletes competed on the Swiss snow of Les Marécottes to win precious World Cup points and the last 2016 Continental titles still unassigned.

At Les Marécottes, in the Valais region, Switzerland, fresh snow and beautiful sunshine welcomed the third event of the 2016 ISMF Ski Mountaineering World Cup, valid also as European Championships.

Anton Palzer (GER) and Claudia Galicia Cotrina (ESP) have won the Vertical Sprint race. The race, staged on the spectacular itinerary at Caspoggio (Val Malenco - Sondrio) attracted a massive number of fans. The Sprint Race held at the second 2016 ISMF World Cup event was welcomed by an incredible number of fans and onlookers. The race took place in the beautiful Caspoggio landscape, a few kilometres from Sondrio.

At the 30th Valtellina Orobie, the second official World Cup event, the Spaniard Jornet had the better of Boscacci by the skin of his teeth. In the women race Laetitia Roux completed her comeback over Jennifer Fiechter.
