It’s with great satisfaction that we have the honour of announcing some very good news to all ski mountaineering enthusiasts. Yesterday at the ISMF Plenary Assembly in Stockholm, the member federations voted unanimously in favour of integrating the races of the so called La  Grande Course, into the ISMF calendar, as the Long Distance Team events for  the  2014/15 ISMF World Cup season.

We are all very happy now that some of the most important ski mountaineering races have joined the ISMF family, and look forward to working together and taking the sport into the future.
