Dear ISMF stakeholders,

with great pleasure I inform you that on the 28.12.2013 the German First Program ARD will broadcast a report to introduce ISMF Ski Mountaineering as their new Winter Sport to the Public. The title of the report is:  “Ski Mountaineering a new Olympic Sport?”  It’s placed in a whole day of winter sport between nine o`clock in the morning till five o`clock in the afternoon, right after a report about the Nordic Combined and before a report about “Adventure Cross Country ” on the Way to the Olympic Games in Sochi. It will be broadcast on Saturday between  11.30 – 12.00 am. The report can be watched in all German speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Alto Adige) and via satellite where ARD is reachable. The market share of ARD is high in those countries. The Ski Mountaineering report is also broadcast via internet depending on the rights situation in the different countries ( www.ard.de – sport- livestream) and during one week after the live broadcast in the ARD Mediathek under – Sport/Wintersport/Ski Mountaineering -.

This program is a German version of the report featuring the German athletes Sepp Rottmoser and Christian Unger.

The international version also featuring the international athletes who were filmed during their visit in Verbier, the location of the first Scarpa ISMF World Cup event, will be edited in the first week of January and can be broadcast from the EBU TV Stations as per 10.1.2014.
